Randeep Surjewala Congress communications in charge said SSC paper leak is yet another Vyapam scam. As protests against the SSC paper leak have gained a momentum, many opposition parties are attacking to the government in over corruption in public service recruitment. Surjewala was said government should accept protesters demands and order a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the matter. Senior Congress leader alleged
“that Central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is selling jobs instead of fulfilling their promises of 2014 Lok Sabha elections”
Surjewala also questioned on the silence of the BJP government over the incident and asked whether the charges levelled by the students that a big recruitment racket was operating in the country were true.
the SSC conducted the employee selection examinations for various ministries of the Government of India and over 10 million students appeared in the recruitment examinations for around 12,000-40,000 government post.
The Congress leader claimed that the charges of mass cheating, question paper leak and bogus candidates appearing in the examination showed the same modus operandi that was used in the Vyapam scam in Madhya Pradesh, which was going on since 2006.
